ACTIVE WARRANT LIST

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office implemented a Fugitive Warrant Team in 2016. Since inception, the Warrant Team has assisted in clearing over 1600 warrants and as of July 2019 the number of active warrants in Sublette County was just over 700. The Team’s work returns significant funds to the State of Wyoming and Sublette County through paid bonds and fines.

Sublette County Court

The Warrant Team works with various law enforcement agencies, utilizing various computer databases, to investigate the whereabouts of these individuals with the goal of eventually bringing about their arrest. The Team performs various tasks related with the apprehension of individuals with outstanding felony and misdemeanor charges. They actively audit, investigate and work all active warrants issued by Sublette County Courts. The Team is also responsible for assisting with courtroom security, relief bailiff duty and coordination/execution of extraditions and transfers of fugitives.

If you have an active warrant you can expect contact from the Sublette County Warrant team by phone, text and/or email. The Warrant Deputy will provide the following in your contact/voicemail:

  • Name and/or Badge Number
  • The reason for the contact
  • The court the warrant is issued from
  • The bond amount on the warrant (if applicable)
  • The contact information for the appropriate court so that the warrant can be addressed prior to an arrest being made, if possible.
